Musical Education
These educational courses are assigned to children of kindergarden and elementary school. These courses are nowadays taking place in many Public Schools of Rome under the approvance of the 16th City Council of Rome. Its main target is to supply musical comprehension, sensibility and knowledge.
From the children the exploration of the sonorous world have two essential phases:
in a first time the sounds are looked for, the various possibilities are experimented timbriche of the objects
without a precise finality; then he returns to explore, but this time to elaborate and to use in defined contexts
the experimented sonorous material.
If opportunely solicited they will be the children themselves to recognize descriptive quality in the produced sounds
and to want to use that sounds in contexts of game.
The educator's assignment to this point is that to help his/her children in this elaboration without overwhelming however their spontaneity.
elementary school
the main aim of the course are:
- Use of percussions and voice for the acknowledgement of rhythmic values
- Ear training
- Relationship between Music and the other Arts
- Vocal techniques
- Composition
- Invention and construction of new instruments

three years-old baby
the main aim of the course are:
- Explore the sound of their own environments: school class, the courtyard, the streets, their house.
- Explore the potential sound of the body
- Explore the potential sound of the objects
four years-old baby
the main aim of the course are:
- Explore the sound of their own environments use toys to produce sound
- Comprehension and identification of the different qualities of sound by playing with movements
- Rhythmic education by using nursery rhymes
- Singing games
five years-old baby
the main aim of the course are:
- Development of sound manipulation
- Development of symbolic identification of music
- Formal analysis by dancing and movement games
