MeA COMPOSITION CONTEST – 4th EDITION
“Concerto for violin and chamber orchestra”
Five years after the death of Luciano Berio the Musica e Arte Composition Contest, for its 4th edition, wants to honour his memory proposing to the applicants the development of the main theme extracted from Béla, the first piece of the “Duets for two violins” (1979) without imposing any further linguistic of formal indications.
"Musica e Arte Composition Contest" is open to students attending European Music Conservatories and European University Music Departments and to students graduated during the current Academic Year from the same institutions

The evening was presented by Rosanna Cancellieri and had as guests Pina Maturani, representative of the Province of Rome and Mauro Angeletti of Midiware who delivered to the winners a copy of musical notation software for Sibelius
